Elective - Globaloria
Globaloria was and still is very hard. We were taught how to program in Adobe Flash. I don't get why coding couldn't be just regular sentences. I thought you could put "move object ,bunny, to coordinate 17, if left arrow key was used." instead, it is a complex language that includes punctuations as instructions, and if you get one space incorrect, the entire code will not work. It was very frustrating to learn Flash coding. It is like learning another language,that you can't say....
History
I enjoyed the Revolutionary war unit. It was interesting to learn how America broke away from Britian. A lot of other history was cool, too. It's fun to learn how America became such a great country. What I liked most about the revolutionary war was how Henry Knox had to travel by sled across land with 58 cannons just to take advantage of the unsuspecting British in Boston. I also liked how Henry Knox's brother thought of making portable barriers made of hay and wood to barracade themselves in Boston. The make-shift barracades were strong enough to stop musket balls.
Core
Before when I started 5th grade it was hard being organised. I had to scramble to find a pencil and I was about the worst organizer in the world and we used a notebook so as you would expect I mess up a lot of times putting thing in the wrong order and that would tick of points off my grade. Luckily at the end of the year we started using the notebook less and less until these last few weeks we just stopped which really improved my grade. But still it was fun or teacher gave us a lot of fun challenges to surpass.
